Dr Amanda Ross is a statistician at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute (Swiss TPH) in the Department of Epidemiology and Public Health. Her work focuses on understanding the epidemiology and dynamics of malaria and the impact of different interventions. This involves designing and analysing epidemiological studies, developing and applying statistical methods to estimate the underlying transmission dynamics and developing mathematical models of malaria to help evaluate the likely impact of control and elimination strategies. Prior to joining Swiss TPH, she was based in Kenya, Uganda and the UK.
