Dr Robin Sandkühler obtained his MSc in computer science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. In 2020, he received his PhD from the University of Basel. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Medical Image Analysis & Navigation in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Basel, where he leads the research group working on image segmentation. His research focuses on the development of weakly supervised machine-learning methods for medical image analysis. Furthermore, he is interested in computer-assisted diagnostics and the estimation of disease progression by combining different information resources.
