BRCCH Consortium Member
Judith Bouman is a PhD student with Roland Regoes at the ETH Zürich since March 2018. For the BRCCH consortium she works on developing and testing statistical methods to estimate the cumulative incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection with serosurvey data. In particular, she exploits approaches that do not require a cutoff to classify serological samples into sero-positive or negative. Before starting her PhD, she has obtained a bachelor Medical Natural Sciences and a master Mathematics from the VU in Amsterdam. Besides working on SARS-CoV-2, she models within-host dynamics of HIV-1 and the spread of vaccine escape mutants in heterogeneous populations.
