BRCCH Consortium Member
ETH Zurich

Judith Bouman is a PhD student with Roland Regoes at the ETH Z├╝rich since March 2018. For the BRCCH consortium she works on developing and testing statistical methods to estimate the cumulative incidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection with serosurvey data. In particular, she exploits approaches that do not require a cutoff to classify serological samples into sero-positive or negative. Before starting her PhD, she has obtained a bachelor Medical Natural Sciences and a master Mathematics from the VU in Amsterdam. Besides working on SARS-CoV-2, she models within-host dynamics of HIV-1 and the spread of vaccine escape mutants in heterogeneous populations.
