Prof Lusine Navasardyan has worked as a paediatric endocrinologist at the Institute of Child and Adolescent Health in the Arabkir Medical Center, Armenia, since 2017 and at the Muratsan University Hospital at Yerevan State Medical University, Armenia, since 2005. She received her PhD in 2014 in the research area of type 1 diabetes and thyroid autoimmunity in children and adolescents. She has participated as an investigator in several research and clinical trials in the field of endocrinology, as well as taking part in the Armenian Childhood Obesity Surveillance Initiative (COSI) national study supported by the WHO. She has held several clinical and research fellowships in Basel, Graz (Austria), Salzburg (Austria) and Ulm (Germany), among others. Her research interests cover all areas of endocrinology.
