Professor Roxana Maria Nemes, senior physician in Pneumology and Pediatrics, received her doctorate degree in medicine from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Carol Davila,” Bucharest, Romania.
She is the elected President of the Romanian Pneumology Society (2020-2024).
Dr Nemes is currently the Head of the Pulmonary Function Test Department at the National Institute of Pneumology “Marius Nasta,” Bucharest.
Her research activity has materialized in five grants and more than 20 national and international clinical trials. The main area of her research is respiratory disorders, mainly related to asthma and COPD. Professor Nemes has authored and co-authored more than 14 books/chapters and 120 articles in national and international journals.
She is a professor at the Department of Pathophysiology of the Faculty of Medicine at Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest.
She is a member of several international societies such as ERS, ATS, EAACI, and FCCP.
