Justin Bwalya, BSc, RN, has been a clinical nurse researcher since 2013. He has over seven years of experience in TB/HIV research. He was the study manager for the Population Cohort of the HPTN 071 (PopART) Study in Zambia. In addition, he managed a phylogenetics study (PX) that provided an affordable method of sequencing the HIV genome. He is currently the study manager of the TREATS-COVID study, whose overall aim is to measure the prevalence and spread of SARS-CoV-2 in Zambia. He worked as a nurse clinician for over five years before becoming a clinical researcher.
