María Luisa Huaylinos Bustamante is the project supervisor at the San Marcos headquarters-Cajamarca of Cayetano Heredia University in Peru. She has a bachelor’s degree in biological sciences with an orientation in biotechnology from the National Agrarian University—La Molina in Peru. In addition to having participated in various research projects in the areas of health, nutrition, biochemistry, microbiology and molecular biology, she also supervised a research project in rural communities where the children were assisted by the Cuna Más programme.
